ReplyDeleteI am envisioning a gorgeous fabric softie house with tree and mushroom softies all hanging from a gorgeous natural branch!
Ultimately I would love to make Natalie Lymer's Hedgehog Happiness quilt, but for a small project I would love to create a Melly and Me softie from this gorgeous range for the new niece / nephew that my sister in law is expecting in June / July. I love this fabric - it makes me smile everytime I see it.
ReplyDeleteI would like to use a range of 5-6 different fabrics to create a binky softie for my 3yr old daughter

ReplyDeleteI would like to make a quilt in this fabric, it's lovely
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous! I think something that needs larger pieces to show the colours / designs off beautifully. Perhaps a tote, backpack and library bag! Covering several canvases for the wall using the fairies would also be cute!

ReplyDeleteI would love to make a beautiful coat with this as the lining fabric
ReplyDeleteKeeping in the woodlands theme I would love to make a Mushroom Mate! I can see this little Mushy friend in both the green and grey in Woodlands Path and Woodlands Toadstools, Complete with a button top and friendly face :)

what a great prize if you get the chance to do this Challenge!! Love the entire Woodlands, by Natalie Lymer range - I have some of this already and can't decide on the best thing to make with it.... so many ideas! But for the challenge I would love to make a little girls Peasant Dress which would include 4 or five different prints from the range <3
ReplyDeleteMy 5 year old was looking over my shoulder as I looked through the fabric and very nicely pleaded that I make her a bag out of this fabric to carry all her special little toys! Think "pleeeeeeeaaaaase!"
ReplyDeleteI would love to make some cute little dolls outfits out of different prints from this range and a matching easy peasant dress for my 9mth old baby girl!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to make a baby quilt out of this fabric for my niece/nephew that is due this June. Nice for the colder evenings they have in Holland :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the designs Natalie has on her website, I would love to make the bunting but my favourite thing to make with this is a dress for my little girl. I have seen one in a quilt shop near me and I LOVE how it looks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely range! I would love to make the Enchanted Toadstool Nappy Bag out of this range, to give to a friend of mine who is going to have a baby.
ReplyDeleteI think a bag for myself would be super cute and fun
ReplyDeleteI would love to make my daughter a handbag with matching accessories like a material necklace, ruffly headband and a broach pin. I would use the WOODLANDS VILLAGE AQUA & WOODLANDS VILLAGE RED for the exterior, and the
ReplyDeleteWOODLANDS MINI FAIRIES WHITE for the lining of the bag and a mix of them all for the accessories.
For my boys I would make them matching pixie hats and slippers using the WOODLANDS TOADSTOOL STRIPE GREEN and the WOODLANDS TOADSTOOLS YELLOW as the lining.
a baby quilt , that would be great for that
ReplyDeleteI already bought some Toadstools in Aqua to make an adorable dress for my best friend's baby girl due in May. I would love to make a mini wardrobe in the coordinating fabrics for her.

We have so many wonderful and talented designers in Australia. This range begs to be made into something that will show off the story-telling nature of this range, so I'd be tempted to try my hand at making a story quilt - perhaps along the lines of a fairy ballet. This would really challenge me, but this designer deserves something special.
ReplyDeleteI would make a toddler backpack with the Toadstools Aqua or the Village Aqua
ReplyDeleteI'd make a strip work pillowcase dress for my daughter. This range of fabric is sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the toadstool prints in particular (both the toadstool and toadstool stripe) although they're all gorgeous. I would love to make the woodlands nappy bag for a very special friend who is expecting baby number 5 in a few months :)
ReplyDeleteI meant the enchanted toadstool nappy bag :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to use the different fabrics to create the BASIC FABRIC BOXES so my lil princess can store all her little treasures in her own magical woodland bedroom that im in the process of decorating.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a "back to school kit" for my friends little one starting school - a library bag, a matching pencil case, a fabric covered book, a bus pass holder, a coin purse for lunch money! :)
ReplyDeleteNatalie Miller
I'm thinking this range would look awesome in my little girl's room - as a quilt for her big bed, as lining for fabric baskets (against reclaimed hessian outers), and maybe some cushions for the spare bed.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make anything from this fabric range-it's so gorgeous-I'm saving to get some(or lot's...lol...)
ReplyDeleteBut to showcase this amazing range I think I would make a quilt, how fantastic would that look :)
Thankyou
Catherine xx
I would love to make a peasant dress for my one of my 5 year old daughters. I made her a layered skirt from some of the aqua fabric and red and it was a great color choice. I tend to lean toward simple - I love the "village" in aqua. Love some of the patterns I saw too... will definitely explore more.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a writing compendium or journal cover.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make the Easy Sew Bunting Banner by Whimsy Couture out of the Woodlands Toadstools Pink and the Woodlands Mini Fairies Pink for my 2 year old's bedroom
ReplyDeleteId love to make a little pinni for my little girl and a matching one for her teddy too out of WOODLANDS VILLAGE WHITE :)
ReplyDeleteI would So love to make up a beautiful little pixie styled doll for my daughter with this fabric..They are so richly coloured..Love them!
ReplyDeleteI would like to make my little girl a petty dress and matching bloomers out of this fabric.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to decide how to be use this material, I know my daughter would be over the moon with a quilt for her bed, even if it pushed me to my sewing limits! Though the Aqua toadstools would look gorgeous being made into a coat for my about to start school boy, or overalls for my almost three year old.
ReplyDeleteI think if I had to chose one it would be making a coat for my son, as then in a few years it can get passed down to his little brother. And, who doesn't adore a sweet handmade coat!
i am thinking matching patchwork skirts for my 1 year old and 2 1/2 year old.....there not hard to do are they????
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute fabric!! I would like to make a portable art bag for my daughter to take in the car. It will have pockets for pencils, crayons and notepaper and I would like to make a matching 'library' style bag to put her dolly (and it's accessories) in for when we go in the car too.
