Are you a Fabricholic?

The Oz Material Girls, AKA Louise and Judy are definitely fabricholics - so if you need to have a chat and confess your fabric sins , then here is the place to do so.

We have both been collecting ( or should I say obsessed ) with fabrics for many years and our online business actually started from the love of fabrics.

Don't you just love the feel and smell of gorgeous quality fabrics - the rush you get when you open your parcel and the wonderful ideas that spring to mind

We love meeting other people who are as passionate about fabrics as us, so please leave a post on our blog.

Happy Sewing

  1. I can't say that I'm a fabricholic as I don't have much chance to get to fabric shops however I am starting to build a bit of a stash - bits and pieces from past projects. Must say that when I go to cities/towns with quilting shops in them, I have to visit! Do most people's stashes consist of portions of used fat quarters or are they bigger? How do you group your materials?

  2. Hi Snowy

Quilter's and Patchworkers just love their stashes - the more fabric the better. Fat Quarters are very popular sizes as it allows you to have a large selection in useable sizes. Usually fabrics are grouped by either colour or theme. Be careful though... it is very addictive

    Have a great day

  4. We find the plastic storage containers that fit under your bed or can be stacked in cupboards are great as you can see the fabrics easily - it is sew much fun going through all your fabrics and coordinating them

    Have fun

  5. I don't have a stash, I have a "collection" as I was kindly informed the other day! I think I should spend more time sewing and less time at the puter as my "collection" takes up virtually a whole room....granted there is furniture and other craft stuff in there (how rude) but the majority of the room, is fabric, glorious fabric...some even bought from Loise & Judy!
