  47. I am thankful to myself for being the ever-faithful optimist. It would be so easy for me to give up on my dreams sometimes but I never do, I push on and on even when things look hopeless and they always find a way of working out in the end. Some people call me lucky but I'm not I just don't ever give up and always find a way around my problems. There is always a way it just depends on how you look at things. I'm thankful for that... and cake... and sparkly shoes... and Eric Northman.

  70. I am thankful that my husband is so wonderful and that he is standing by me after a work injury has left me with a disability. He has become my carer and works full time on top to keep us in our house. He knows how much I love my craft work he is buying me a knew sewing machine for my 30th that I can use one handed. As my injury left me in severe 24/7 pain on high painrelief and no use of my right arm and I am right handed. So I am thankful for everything my husband does for me from the moment I get up and he helps me until he helps get me ready for bed. Without his love and support, I would have given up on life.

I am thankful that this week is over, and that our cake delivery went off without any problems. I have spent the last few days making a wedding cake for my grand daughter's wedding, cake was 4 tiers, beach theme with white choc sea shell and star fish. Groom's cake was a tackle box with gummy worms, gumpaste tackle and a red fish cake. I don't own a bakery or work in one, I am a granny who likes to bake and decorate.

  78. I am so thankful that my two year old son has finally realised that I am around and that I am his Mum. He is a real Daddys boy, although he spends every day with me and I am the only one stuck with all the horrible jobs that come with caring for toddlers. He spends all the time in the world cuddling with his Dad, but cant even give me a cuddle, that is, until this week!
Hooray!!! So finally I can have some attention from my son and I am loving it! Many many lovely cuddles :) Lets hope it continues!
