Love cake! But if I had to pin it down (haha pardon the pun) to one sort I think it would have to be apple tea cake. Om nom nom.
My favourite cake is one you cook yourself! I recently made a light sponge cake with fresh cream and strawberries for my husbands birthday and even though it wasn't as high as I would of liked it was heaps better then store bought ones

my favourite cake would have to be either black forest cake or mums fresh sponge cake with fresh cream, strawberry jam and strawberries. yummo. or mango cheesecake

ReplyDeleteMy favourite cake is a fairy cake with raspberry jam in the centre and whipped cream with fairy 'wings' dusted with icing sugar! YUM!
ReplyDeleteThere's too many to choose! But an all-time favourite in our house is a simple butter cake with lemon butter icing. Simple but sweet. Yummo!!!
ReplyDeleteIts a hard choice...but it would have to be either a Hummingbird cake, that I make myself, or a Bee Sting cake,from my local bakery! And then it all comes down to how lazy Im feeling! lol

My favourite cake is my home made Chocolate cake with flake or sprinkles on the top. I always make one for my god kids birthdays and they ALWAYS request my chocky cake...and my hedgehog slice...

ReplyDeleteThe kids made a rainbow cake today baking 6 individual colours then stacking them together to make one big colourful cake!! So now that is my favourite cake ever!! Google rainbow cake and check it out!!

ReplyDeleteMy fave cake would have to be Homemade Carrot Cake. This was my Dads favourite recipe & I would always bake it for him for his birthday & Fathers Day every year while growing up. He died in 2005 & I still bake it every Fathers Day & on his birthday. So that's my fave cake for many reasons (not just taste lol) ;o)
